New Manager Announced.

The Club are pleased to confirm that Scott Hamilton has accepted the position of First Team manager for season 2016/17.

Over the last nine games, Scott has stood in under extremely difficult, almost impossible circumstances and ensured the Club was able to fulfil it’s obligations to the League.

In that difficult time he has shown great dignity under extreme pressure, virtually sacrificing the Youth Teams season to ensure the First Team fulfilled its fixtures with the limited players available to him.

Scott will be bringing in his own backroom staff and together, they will be looking to secure players committed to bringing success to the Club.

It’s not been the season we all anticipated or hoped for, ending in a way nobody could have envisaged or legislated for. We draw under a line under it now, thank Scott and the players who ended the campaign with us, and we move on, with Scott rewarded for that loyalty by having the chance to bring the good times back to Queen Street.

We hope you join us in wishing Scott and his staff every success, as we dust ourselves off, and go again.

On his appointment, Scott said :

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved at Bilston Town for giving me there full support. It is an honour to be given the opportunity to manage the 1st team.

This season has ended and we all need to draw a line under it and start to prepare for next season, the hard work starts now and I’m relishing it.”

In view of Scott’s appointment, we will be looking to appoint a new Youth Team manager. Anyone wishing to be considered should submit their application and c.v. via the Club website.
